Account & Data Deletion — TrueNotification

Last updated: 02 May 2026

You can request deletion of your TrueNotification account and all data associated with it at any time. We comply with deletion requests within 30 days and confirm via email when deletion is complete. We never sell your personal data.

1. How to request deletion

Option A — from inside the app (fastest):

  1. Open the TrueNotification app on your parent device.
  2. Tap the Settings tab.
  3. Scroll to Account Actions.
  4. Tap Request Account Deletion and confirm.

Option B — via the form below (if you no longer have access to the app):

  • Submit the form using your registered email or registered phone number.
  • We may ask for additional verification to prevent unauthorized deletion.
  • Processing time: up to 30 days.

2. Request form

Email Support Instead

By submitting, you confirm you are the account owner or have legal authority to request deletion.

3. What gets deleted

  • Your parent account (name, email, hashed password)
  • All paired child-device records
  • Notification history synced from paired child devices
  • App-usage and screen-time records synced from paired child devices
  • Pairing tokens, session tokens, and Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) tokens
  • Subscription state stored on our servers
  • Support conversations linked to your account (if any)

Important: Active Google Play subscriptions are managed by Google Play and must be cancelled separately at Play Store > Subscriptions. Deleting the account does not stop future Play renewals.

4. What may be retained

To meet legal obligations, fraud-prevention requirements, or regulatory rules, we may retain a limited subset of information:

  • Anonymized server logs (no personally identifying content) for security and abuse prevention — retained for up to 30 days.
  • Disaster-recovery backups — may persist for up to 30 additional days beyond active deletion.
  • Subscription transaction records — retained as required by Google Play and applicable tax law.

None of this retained data is used to identify you or to provide services to your account.

5. FAQ

Do I need to cancel my subscription first? +
Yes. Cancel your subscription from Google Play to stop future billing. Deleting your TrueNotification account does not automatically cancel Google Play billing.
How do you verify ownership? +
We verify using your registered email or phone number. We may request additional confirmation (e.g., reply from your registered email address) to prevent unauthorized deletions.
How long does deletion take? +
Up to 30 days for full deletion from active systems. Anonymized security logs and disaster-recovery backups may persist for up to 30 additional days.
Can I delete only some data, not the full account? +
Yes — if you only want to stop monitoring a specific child device, you can unpair it from inside the app (Settings → Manage Children) without deleting your whole account.
